Here at New Harmony Baptist Church we know that children are true blessings from God. In following the teachings of God’s Word, we want to partner with parents in teaching their children the Truth of God’s Word. From the Nursery to grade school children, in each area of our children’s ministry we focus on the following goals.

A Safe Environment
We consider the responsibility of care for your children our top concern, as it is absolutely necessary for both parents and children to have a sense of security through a safe environment. We screen our child care workers, provide accountability through multiple volunteers, we offer child and infant First Aid/ CPR training for volunteers, we also normally have someone of higher medical training (Nurse, EMT, etc) on the premises, we strive to provide a clean and sterile facility, and we work diligently to improve each week.

A Biblically Relevant Learning Experience
Our responsibility as a Church is to partner with parents in teaching the truths of God’s Word in a relevant and age appropriate manner. We want kids to connect, understand, and be able to apply God’s Word in their own lives.

A Fun and Memorable Experience
We strive to create fun and memorable experience through our children’s ministry. We want kids to enjoy their time with us, remember it often, and we want them to return quickly inviting their friends to come along. As a church family, we also want to provide an environment that will foster friendships that reach beyond the walls of our building into the everyday lives of each family.

Nursery
Our nurseries are available to nurture your children while allowing you the opportunity to attend services without having to worry or be concerned about your child.

Our nurseries are divided into 2 age groups:

Babies (Under 1 Year Old)
Toddlers (1 & 2 year olds)

Our Nursery is available for the children of those attending Services and Bible Study.

Sunday Morning Bible Study 9:45 AM
Sunday Morning Service 11 AM
Sunday Evening Service 6 PM
Wednesday Evening 7 PM

We also arrange Nursery for special occasions as advertised in the Church Bulletin.

Children’s Church
A special time of worship and Bible teaching that is designed for kids 3 years old to 6 years old. Each Sunday kids join their families in cooperate worship. After worshiping through singing and fellowship, they are dismissed just before the sermon to gather for a service designed just for them.
